When you feel as blank as this board and you cannot find the words to describe how you feel for your therapist but you have the perfect song in mind that  you can think of to help your therapist understand what you are feeling ... bring it therapy and ask your therapist to listen to the song.... 

Using a song can help your therapist understand what you are feeling and  help understand you more.  No matter what the type of song its all good. 

Music connects us to our feelings and we are drawn to different types of music depending on our mood.

Intentions

Ponder and deliberate before you make a move .... Sun Tzu 

Making a choice to be intentional in your choices. Thinking  before acting.  This is the opposite of being impulsive and or simply movig through life without really thinking just sort of doing to be doing, or doing because it is the next thing to do or its what everyone else is doing. Moving with intention being mindful in your actions and aligning your steps with your goals and what you value. Being true to you and what is important to you. I wonder how your life would be different or better by living mindfully with intention and taking the time to ponder and deliberate on your next move? We tend to move so fast through life I challenge you to slow down and be present and aware intentional and mindful this year and see how it feels. 

One Step At A Time........

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a  single step  LAD TZU....



Every journey starts with a single step. So many people that I meet that have anxiety  typically look at things in a big picture kind of view. This can be overwhelming and scary. Do yourself if you have anxiety about big projects and just chunk it down into small reasonable attainable steps. Take one small chunk at a time and breathe along the way and celebrate the parts that you get done as you get them done.  Making sure that you are being reasonable with your time and expectations for yourself. If you are reasonable you are setting yourself up to be disappointed and discouraged and you may just give up what you are trying to do for yourself.  Set yourself up for success!
